More than just gatherings, CAE’s events serve a critical role in promoting social inclusion, celebrating community, and ensuring everyone has a place to enjoy each other. Our diverse calendar is designed to foster peer-to-peer connection, cultural understanding, and specialized skill development for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) community and their allies.
Beach Party
An annual summer event designed to provide an accessible and inclusive outdoor social setting, fostering peer-to-peer connection and relaxation for all participants and their families.
Deaf Night Out:
A recurring social event held at various public venues, specifically structured to provide a fun, barrier-free environment for members of the Deaf community to socialize and network.
Love and Literacy Event
An event focused on promoting reading and communication skills within the family unit, often involving book donations, storytelling, and interactive workshops for parents and children.
Thanksgiving Gathering:
A catered or potluck-style meal intended to ensure that all clients and staff have a communal place to celebrate the holiday, reinforcing a strong sense of community and support.
Christmas Party:
A festive end-of-year celebration that includes food, entertainment, and gift-giving, serving as a key event for appreciation and social bonding.
